Judy serves as the Executive Director. She has an undergraduate degree in Christian Education from Scarritt College in Nashville and a Masters in Social Work from The University of Alabama. She was commissioned as a deaconess in 1983 and has been with the McCoy family for over 30 years. She has a passion for working with the elderly and has a wealth of experience with those suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia. Judy is married to her husband John. The two have two kids Johnny who is married to Janell and Jay who is married to Emily. They also have two wonderful grand kids.
Vivian is our Director, previously the Program Manger. She joined the McCoy staff in May of 2016. She is also a graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received her bachelor’s of art in social work and is currently earning her masters in social work from Walden University. At McCoy Vivian believes that promoting self-awareness through daily activities and games and focusing on cognitive thinking and skills, clients are less stressed, less anxious and are focused on having a good time while being away from home for a few hours throughout the day. It is rewarding to know that caregivers can continue working, take time for themselves or get some rest while their loved one comes to the daycare.
