Join the Fundraising Committee
The Rock-A-Thon Fundraising Committee will help guide the planning, fundraising, and community engagement needed to make the 35th anniversary celebration successful.
Committee members may assist with:
Identifying and securing sponsors
Recruiting McCoy ROCKSTARS and fundraising teams
Connecting McCoy with businesses, churches, civic groups, and community partners
Promoting the event through personal and professional networks
Recruiting vendors, volunteers, and event participants
Developing activities and fundraising ideas
Supporting event-day coordination
You do not need professional fundraising experience to participate. We welcome people with community connections, creative ideas, organizational skills, or a genuine desire to support older adults and family caregivers.

Become a McCoy ROCKSTAR
The McCoy ROCKSTARS will be a cohort of community leaders, advocates, business owners, professionals, supporters, and friends of McCoy who use their voices and networks to raise funds and awareness.
Each ROCKSTAR will:
Create an individual fundraising campaign
Introduce new supporters to McCoy’s mission
Share Rock-A-Thon updates through personal and professional networks
Encourage friends, family members, and colleagues to give
Participate in selected campaign and Rock-A-Thon activities
Help build momentum for McCoy ROCKS
The ROCKSTARS cohort will be recognized throughout the campaign and celebrated during Rock-A-Thon. At the end of the campaign, the cohort will symbolically Pass the Mic to the next group of community champions who will continue advancing McCoy’s mission.
Individuals may volunteer, be nominated by someone in the community, or be invited by McCoy.

Become a Sponsor
Rock-A-Thon sponsorship gives businesses, churches, organizations, and community partners an opportunity to support McCoy while receiving recognition connected to a beloved Birmingham tradition.
Sponsorship opportunities include:
Presenting Sponsor — $10,000
Platinum Sponsor — $5,000
Gold Sponsor — $2,500
Silver Sponsor — $1,000
Bronze Sponsor — $500
Rocking Sponsor — $250
Depending on the sponsorship level, benefits may include:
Recognition on the Rock-A-Thon webpage
Logo or name placement on event materials
Recognition on event signage and T-shirts
Social media features and public acknowledgments
Opportunities to display company information
Vendor space at the event
Complimentary event T-shirts
Opportunities to sponsor or decorate a rocking chair
Special recognition during the program
In-kind sponsorships may also be considered for food, printing, entertainment, supplies, activities, professional services, and other approved event needs.

Become a Vendor
Rock-A-Thon vendors will have an opportunity to share their products, services, or community resources with McCoy families, supporters, and event attendees.
Vendor spaces are $125, with a limited number available. Vendors may include:
Local businesses
Food and beverage providers
Artists and makers
Health and wellness organizations
Senior-service providers
Community organizations
Family-friendly businesses and activities
All vendors must be approved by McCoy. Vendors are responsible for their own displays, supplies, staffing, payment systems, and any required permits or insurance. Additional guidelines and event logistics will be provided after approval.
